Message from our Patron
It is with great pleasure that I formally accept your invitation to be patron of Malaika Kids. This acceptance is a recognition by myself and the High Commission of Tanzania of the noble work Malaika Kids is doing for the under privileged children in Tanzania.

Children’s village gets 100% support from Regional Government

At a top level meeting arranged by Mr Henry Clemens, the District Commissioner of the province of Mkuranga, the Malaika Kids village was given their full backing. Mr Clemens had assembled his top planning and administrative officers and listened with interest to our presentation of the current and future plans for our site. He confirmed that the orphan village is a significant part of the official Mkuranga Development Plan, which also includes development of the Pan African University of Government as well as new housing, leisure and business developments.

We are genuinely viewed with great enthusiasm by the officials, and Henry Clemens could not have been more supportive. His closing words were: “No one will stand between us and the Malaika Kids project. The future of Mkuranga lies here”.

Clemens (District Commissioner Mkuranga), Karim Merali (Fundraiser MKTZ) and Nigel Fawkes (Chairman MKUK).
