Message from our Patron
It is with great pleasure that I formally accept your invitation to be patron of Malaika Kids. This acceptance is a recognition by myself and the High Commission of Tanzania of the noble work Malaika Kids is doing for the under privileged children in Tanzania.

St Joseph's contribute a new Trailer

A Trailer Load of Gifts for African Orphans

Building suppliers in Tanzania have to contract out their deliveries, so every order we place costs another 15% to have it delivered to the Children's Village in Mkuranga. Now - thanks to the efforts and generosity of pupils, parents and staff at St Joseph's RC Primary School in Maida Vale, London, we have been able to buy a magnificent new trailer.

The £2,000 they raised has paid for a four wheeled Ifor Wiliams model with over two ton load capacity, and an ingenious drop-down ramp for ease of loading.

They also collected books, bikes, toys and furniture, so it was heavily laden when Nigel Fawkes, UK Chairman drove carefully out of the school yard and towed it behind the Land Rover up to Corby, Northamptonshire to ship it to Tanzania.
