You could be running the 100m in the Olympic Stadium

The London 2012 Olympic Stadium Malaika Kids offers to its supporters an opportunity to run in the London Olympic Stadium! As the London 2012 Olympics get closer, there will be a major charity event in the Olympic stadium on Sunday 1st April. A select number of runners (of any and all abilities) will warm up with professional athletes and run the 100m on the Olympic track in front of a cheering crowd of 20,000, with official photographers to record the moment. You or a family member or friend could be one of them! You will enjoy the experience but will also be helping officials to ensure that all preparations are on course for Usain Bolt and others as they run in the Olympics for real only weeks later. If you participate, you’ll be helping a great charity at the same time. Malaika Kids is a charity dedicated to helping orphans in Tanzania. Together with the British Olympic Association and event organisers Gold Challenge, Malaika Kids has secured two places in this 100m pre-Olympic trial run. The first spot will go to the highest bid we receive at info@malaika-kids.org.uk by 6pm on Sunday 5th February (subject to a reserve price of £2,000). The second spot will go to the highest bid we receive by 6pm on Sunday 19th February.
