Expansion of activities to help more children
| In June 2005 we started with the Relatives Support Programme. Recently this was evaluated and the results are so positive that we have decided to make this an integral part of our policy. From the time an orphan is placed in our care, we spend two years trying to locate family members. If we succeed, the family situation is assessed and if possible the child is placed with the family. Often the family will be supported financially or otherwise by Malaika Kids. |

| Until now, each month we have manually entered the projects into the Online Donation Control System (ODCS) in order to transfer funds for the Relatives Support Programme to Tanzania. However soon the ODCS will be extended, so that the costs of the Relatives Support Programme will be reflected in the monthly expenditure graph. | ||
