Message from our Patron
It is with great pleasure that I formally accept your invitation to be patron of Malaika Kids. This acceptance is a recognition by myself and the High Commission of Tanzania of the noble work Malaika Kids is doing for the under privileged children in Tanzania.

Tajidini (Tadji) Mohammed, 18 years old

Tadji was born in Singida. Both of his parents are dead. After their death, his grandmother wished to look after him but could not cope financially. She sought help from the Welfare Service and they brought Tadji to Malaika Kids. His grandmother has since died. Tadji is a cheerful boy who is clearly a leader and has gained the respect of the other children at Malaika Kids. He just finished primary school and is waiting for his exam results to see where he will go to secondary school. He likes math and science His English is awesome – he’s obviously worked very hard on it. Loves football and is a very talented player, and they call him Anelka ( famous French and Chelsea FC striker) He wants to be a sea captain (the kids went for a port visit recently and loved seeing the big ships) At Malaika, he is the oldest and has the most responsibilities for helping out with the younger children. He takes them to and from school, helps with bath and feeding.
