Your help with time

Organise an event
Organise an event yourself or through your club, society, workplace, school or university. Some ideas include:
- Quiz night
- Auction
- Concert
- Fashion show
- Tennis tournament
- Bike ride
- ‘Posh frock’ sale
Take part in an organised event
Events are organised all over the country, and indeed the world, which you can enter as an individual and gain sponsorship for the charity of your choice. They include:
- The London Marathon
- The Great North Run / Great South Run etc
- The Hydro Active Women’s Challenge
Remember to enter Malaika Kids UK as your chosen charity, quoting where necessary the registered office and the charity number listed at the bottom of this page
Do an individual challenge
Gain sponsorship for an individual challenge and do something:
sporty Walk, run, cycle or ride a horse - across a continent or round your park or village, depending on your age, fitness & ability
challenging Climb a mountain, make a parachute jump
silly Shave your head or eyebrows, grow a beard, sit in a bath of baked beans
sensible Stop smoking, lose weight, learn a language
Adopt Malaika Kids
Many organisations, e.g. schools, churches and clubs such as Rotary or Lions, raise funds for a particular charity. Do you or your friends and family belong to a group which would like to adopt Malaika Kids as your ‘favourite’ charity? You could direct your giving by helping to fund a particular part of the village or by supporting a number of children on the Relatives Support Programme.
To email us
Please tell us what you are planning to do using the contact form below. We can send you leaflets, sponsorship forms and, where appropriate, Gift Aid forms so that we can recover tax and increase the value of your fundraising.

After your event has taken place, do let us know how it went and send us your photos – we may be able to include some of them on the website.
