Message from our Patron
It is with great pleasure that I formally accept your invitation to be patron of Malaika Kids. This acceptance is a recognition by myself and the High Commission of Tanzania of the noble work Malaika Kids is doing for the under privileged children in Tanzania.

Building programme steps up as rainy season draws to an end

It is wonderful to see our first building up, and a lot has been learned in the process. Kees Dwarhuis, the architect, looked into every detail with the builder, and this experience will enable us to improve construction quality and price in many different ways. We have now solved the problem of standardised roof truss, window and door frame production, the hydroform bricks (which self stack and don’t need mortar) are proving their worth, and the concrete floor slabs will now be ‘flindered’ giving them a smooth, sealed finish in one go.
