Why Raise Funds for Malaika Kids?
.
		We are a small charity which means that every bit of support you give us will make a huge difference to us.
		We will provide you with a close community of support as you fundraise!
		We promise that all the money we receive from your fundraising efforts will go to Malaika Kids Tanzania to pay for the orphans care and the building of the Childrens Village.
		We have no paid staff in the UK, we are all volunteers and our administrative costs are tiny and covered by Gift Aid tax refunds.
		Malaika Kids sources supplies and staff, wherever possible, locally in Tanzania, which means not only are you helping the orphans directly but you are also supporting the wider Tanzanian community.

Where Will Your Money Go?
Right now we are putting the finishing touches to the first phase of the Children’s Village where ultimately we will be providing a home, education and skills training for 320 Tanzanian orphans. The money we raise in 2010 will be used to provide
		Materials and labour for the second building phase for 40 children.
		The running costs of the Children’s Village in Mkuranga and the Reception Home in Dar es Salaam.
		Growing our Relatives Support Programme where orphaned children are fostered in the community by extended family.

Malaika Kids will support you in any way we can - whether with ideas, information about our charity or materials where costs permit. We would love to hear about any creative ideas you have about fundraising as well!
